A manufacturer of piezoelectric ultrasound transducers is in search of a Transducer Electronics/Packaging Engineer to work in their facility in Indianapolis, Indiana. The major function of this position will be to provide electronics, packaging, and mechanical expertise for transducer development projects. Challenges will come from a broad spectrum of development projects with signal frequencies ranging from 1 KHz to 20 MHz and applications as diverse as sensors for nuclear power plants to down-hole transducers for oil exploration. Key responsibilities include: designing and developing electrical, mechanical and packaging solutions for piezoelectric applications; and generating design artwork using SolidWorks or 3D CAD software. In order to be considered, you must have a BS, MS, or PhD Electrical/Mechanical Engineering degree (or equivalent). Candidates should also have at least 5 years of broad experience in electronics packaging field including thermal and mechanical design. Experience in content/document management is a plus! Those local to the Indianapolis area are encouraged to apply as there is no relocation assistance offered. A great work environment with excellent benefits await the right candidate.
