Field Service Technician - Mechanical/Packaging/Liquid

IMMEDIATE NEED by our NE Atlanta area client for Field Service Technicians to install and service liquid filling and packaging equipment! This will include fillers, packers, conveyors, compressors and palletizers. Be prepared to travel approximately 75-100% of the time as there will be significant travel to customer sites throughout the U.S., Canada, and possibly other international locations. You will also address service matters regarding the mechanical, electrical and automatic functioning of these types of equipment. Qualified candidates MUST HAVE at least an Associates Degree in Applied Electrical/Mechanical Sciences and 3 years of experience in the installation, maintenance and repair of liquid filling and packaging equipment. Additional Requirements: demonstrated experience in pneumatics, hydraulics, lubrication systems of basic machine shop equipment, solid ability to read electrical schematics and use simple test equipment. You will also need to write and speak fluent English and be able to present yourself in a positive manner at customer sites. PLUSES: experience with PLC, metric system and spoken French or Italian. This position offers an excellent total compensation package: salary with a 10% bonus potential, strong possibility of Overtime, excellent benefits, including full vesting from first day of employment. Some relocation assistance is available for the right candidate, but if you live nearby to a major airport you may work from home.

• How many years experience do you have working with these?

• Briefly describe your experience in pneumatics, hydraulics and lubrication systems of basic machine shop equipment.

• Please summarize your experience and knowledge of PLC and those PLC you have worked with.

• Where do you currently live? Is this near a major airport with direct flights to most U.S. and international cities?
