Location: Butte, MT, USA
Our client, who is one of the largest providers of electricity and natural gas in the Upper Midwest and Northwest, is in search of a Project Engineer. This position will be responsible to perform engineering, construction design, evaluate projects, estimate costs of construction projects and assist in field supervision of craft personnel performing construction activities. Will require to be on the Division call schedule. This is a 24-hour a day duty, periodically, for one week at a time.

Candidate must demonstrate a history of good safe working practices and have a BS degree in Engineering or equivalent experience. The ability to obtain a Professional Engineers License is preferred. Will need to have knowledge of International Fuel Gas Code, NESC, NEC, and the DOT. Part 191 and 192 is preferred. Will require a general understanding of survey and inspection techniques and microprocessor based equipment. Will need to have excellent communications and computer skills and good to excellent technical writing skills. Will need to be organized and have the ability to work well with others so to handle multiple conflicting tasks or projects and challenging situations. This position may require lifting of materials up to 70 pounds. Some travel and extended hours may be required A valid Montana driver's license or the ability to get one is required

• Describe your construction project management within the energy-utility industry experience.

• Describe a project or task where you over came a challenging situation to obtain your goals.

• This position requires a rotating 24 hour on-call duty. Is this acceptable?
