A client in east Texas is seeking an Accounting Manager. This person leads the general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed asset staff for the client, reviews General Ledger and various financial transactions for compliance with appropriate standards. Requires a degree in Accounting and a minimum of 5 to 7 years experience in General Ledger accounting. CPA or CMA certification is a major plus. Management and supervisory experience is also required. Must know FASB and GAAP standards. Experience with MAXIMO or Great Plains financial systems is a plus. Excellent benefits, and relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.
