IMMEDIATE NEED in east Tennessee for a Facilities Engineer who has 8 years work experience in a heavy manufacturing environment and a Bachelors degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. The MUST HAVE items for you to bring to this position are: a proficiency in the application and maintenance of electrical distribution systems, lean production systems, machine control, process control, large DC drive systems, computers, CAD software, PLC programming, National Electrical Code, and OSHA, EPA and other health & safety regulations; leadership skills; exhibit judgment when leading others toward objectives; start and persist with specific courses of action displaying high motivation and a sense of urgency; analytical problem solving using systematic approaches by analyzing problems and evaluating alternate solutions. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to: assist in the administration of the capital budget; research, specify, design new or improved equipment and processes; cost estimates, equipment layouts, design prints, piping and instrumentation diagrams, PLC programs, and time schedules for the installation of new processes, machines, and equipment; plan, schedule, and procure outside contractors / vendors. Local candidates preferred. Your compensation will be commensurate with your experience.
