IMMEDIATE NEED in east central Washington or a Quality Assurance Engineer who has a minimum of 4 years work experience and an Engineering or Technical degree, a Mechanical Engineering degree is preferred. The MUST HAVE items for you to be considered for this position are: Quality Engineering experience is a manufacturing environment; understanding of Lean concepts and methods; ability to identify root cause through analysis of data; leadership experience; familiarity with the following software ( Excel, Word, Access, Statistical programs, Solid works ); have the flexibility to work overtime, changing shifts, and travel on short notice. Bringing the following will be a plus in this position: hands-on engineering experience in a fabrication / assembly shop environment; experience with pneumatic tools, hydraulics, machining / forming / welding requirements, paint systems, and electrical systems; experience supporting an ISO Quality System; Project Management; experience in eliminating Quality challenges using poke-yokes and Zero QC techniques. Your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to: improving production processes through data collection and analysis; implementation of Quality Management Systems; direct customer support including problem solving, reporting, and on-site visits; developing and maintaining metrics for the Quality Assurance department. Your compensation will be commensurate with your experience. Relocation assistance is available.
