Our client, a leading value-added services company, is seeking a degreed GIS professional for a contract to permanent position in the metropolitan Birmingham, AL area. This person will support airborne LIDAR/digital aerial photography data capture operations along with aerial ortho-photography production and electric power transmission vegetation management assessment production. To qualify for this great opportunity to join a leading organization, it essential to have an in-depth working knowledge of ESRI GIS products as well as working knowledge of various PC based mapping software products (e.g. Delorme/Street Atlas, Delorme/Topo USA Global mapper, US Army Corps of Engineers/CorpscCon, Google Earth, etc.). Salary will be commensurate with experience.
Questions you will be asked:
• Briefly describe the experience that you possess which directly relates to the listed qualifications.
• Describe your experience with LIDAR digital aerial photography, b) aerial ortho-photography production, and-or electric power transmission vegetation management assessment production.
• Please explain your experience with PC-based mapping software.
