Global design and consulting firm is actively looking for an Sr Mechanical Design Engineer for their Chicago office with at least 7 years experience. Candidates must have Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering, a proven track record in procuring and delivering projects in a wide variety of markets and sound knowledge of mechanical engineering fundamentals specifically high rise design and management.. You will be responsible for providing technical direction to engineers and drafters assigned to project to insure work is completed properly and in sequence. Will also need to be familiar with monitoring financial performance, client relations, and team motivation while undertaking design of mechanical systems including: heating, cooling, heat rejection, air distribution, ventilation, air conditioning, building automation and controls. PE licence is NOT required, but HIGHLY PREFERRED. Great salary and benefits available. Also PAID RELOCATION AND INITIAL HOUSING for the right candidate.

• Describe your experience with managing and providing technical direction to engineers and drafters.

• Are you familiar with analyzing mechanical systems for buildings and preparing design documents?
