Direct hire opening with a well established global client located in the Chicago, IL area for candidates that have a bachelors degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering and approximately 10 or more years of experience as a Project Engineer and/or Project Manager. Responsibilities will involve managing Retrofit and Modular projects associated with chemical, refining or oil/gas process equipment. This will include oversight and management of the project budgets, schedules and cost expenditures of assigned projects. Client is looking for someone that has a good knowledge of modular system fabrication, including structural, piping, vessel, insulation, rotating equipment and I&E design plus the ability to manage subcontracts for Engineering, Fabrication of piping, structural steel and vessels, and other services such as painting, insulation and I&E work. You will also be responsible for completing or reviewing scope of work, requisitions and purchase order to subcontractors and to review subcontractor work including engineering documents, estimate personnel needs and schedule and assign work to meet required completion dates. The job responsibilities include extensive client interface both domestic and international. Previous experience within Oracle is a plus. Knowledge of refinery processes is also a plus. • What is your current or most recent annual salary (please break down base, bonus,etc.) and what is your desired annual salary for this position?
