Excellent opportunity to join well known supplier for the global automotive industry as a Development Engineer. Company seeks Development Engineers (with an Electrical background) of all experience levels to join them in their Syracuse, NY facility. This is a contract to direct hire opportunity. Company has full capabilities in powertrain design, development, testing and manufacturing offering the complete system integration. Ideal Electrical Engineering candidate would of course need automotive (drive train) experience. They would in essence serve in a Development Engineer capacity therefore they must be able to prepare and run tests, collect data, and solve system level problems etc. Candidates should be very familiar with small motor-driven actuators, electronic controllers, software, controls etc. Candidates can have anywhere from 3-15 years experience depending on how closely related that experience is. BSEE required. Excellent salary and benefits package available for qualified candidates. Prefers local candidates or short range relo however will consider full relocation for well qualified candidates.
