Electrical Engineer - Building Systems

A leading engineering consulting firm, specializing in complex building projects, has an immediate opening for an experienced Electrical Engineer in northeast Virginia. A BS in Electrical Engineering is required and a PE License is highly preferred. A minimum of 5 years experience is required in design and engineering with thorough knowledge in electrical systems of buildings and in preparation of construction documents. Good client and communication skills are also necessary for this position.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading organization. This position may start as a Temp-To-Perm or could be Permanent depending on qualifications. A competitive salary and comprehensive benefits are available for the right candidate. All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.

• What is your educational background including all Degrees and Certifications obtained?

• Do you have your PE License? Your EIT? When and where did you obtain it?

• Describe your electrical engineering and design experience related to electrical systems for construction and buildings, including number of years.

• What experience do you have with preparation of Construction documents? Explain.

• Why do you think you would be a good fit for this position?
