Fortune 100 client located in Eastern Texas is searching for a Mechanical Engineer with experience in rotating machinery to provide leadership and support to the Ethylene Plant in Orange, TX. The major functions of this role are to provide rotating machinery support to the Ethylene facility, act as a lead mechanical engineer for Ethylene technical team through design implementation and mentoring to other engineers. This candidate will provide rotating machinery technical support to include: equipment analysis, troubleshooting, evaluation of equipment failures, and technical recommendations for repairs and upgrades.
This position requires a BSME and 10+ years of manufacturing plant experience. This candidate should have familiarity with ASME Code, and API Standards. This candidate should have demonstrated ability to manage and lead both strategic long-term programs/projects as well as address short-term operational issues. Excellent communication skills to allow productive collaborative relationships from mechanics to management. Relocation is available for the right candidate.
