Transmission Engineer - T-Line Design/Structural /PLS Cad

Location: Tulsa, OK, USA
Long term Contract Assignments located in Oklahoma for Transmission Line Design Engineers. BSCE or BSEE. Professional registration in Oklahoma preferred, but will accept other US State registrations. The minimum requirements are as follows: a BS degree in Civil, Structural or Electrical Engineering, at minimum of ten years total engineering experience with transmission line design, PLS Cad experience, registration as a Professional Engineer, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Additional requirements for this job include a working knowledge of economic analysis methods, budgeting, corporate policies and regulatory requirements, comprehensive knowledge of utility engineering practices, construction methods, and material specifications. Specific duties associated with this position include: Development of transmission line design parameters (engineering analysis, route analysis, and line design calculations for transmission work), leadership and training of personnel, technical design and project review, development of transmission standards and specifications, study preparations and reports, monitoring project expenditures, input for detailed project schedules, and practice of project cost control.
