IMMEDIATE OPENING- Actively seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager/Buyer to work for a food equipment manufacturer in Northern Virginia.The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing Best-in Class Supply Chain practices, sourcing new and existing products, negotiating contracts, supplier evaluation and selection. Will also be responsible for order and delivery scheduling and will source international locations to establish supply chain/supplier base in order to implement cost reduction opportunities for the company. Must have a Bachelors Degree and a minimum five years experience. Prefer candidates with stainless steel or steel commodities procurement because 70% of the company's costs are in steel materials. Lean manufacturing experience is a plus; computer skills including MS Word, Excel and Outlook are required. Travel will be in the 15-20% range with occasional international trips.
