3D Designer - Inventor 3D/AutoCAD/Sheetmetal/Weldments

Location: Louisville, KY, USA
Design and manufacturer of large filtration equipment needs an AutoCAD Inventor 3D designer with 3-5 years experience in sheetmetal and weldments. Should be experienced in design and detailing for a manufacturing environment. Will be working with a team of engineers to produce drawings that will be utilized for manufacture and construction of large filtration equipment. Must be able to work independently as well be a team member to achieve results for project completion. This is a contract position and does not allow for relocation. Candidate will be local to the Northern Kentucky or Southern Indiana area.
Questions you will be asked:

• Do you have AutoCAD Inventor 3D Experience? How many years and what release? Describe some of your work and projects with Inventor 3D. Are you experienced in sheetmetal and large weldments design and what types of equipment? Do you have a knowledge with any types of large filtration, ducting or exhaust systems design? Explain.

• Explain some of your experience with large sheetmetal assemblies, top-down assemblies and skeletal models using Inventor 3D. Describe some of the projects that you have worked on using Inventor 3D.

• Has your experience included geometric tolerance analysis, stack-up, detailing parts and handling ECR-s, BOM-s and maintaining engineering documentation? Explain
