Location: Knoxville, TN, USA
Power generation company in the Knoxville, TN area, is in search of a Lead C02 Mechanical Design Engineer for an immediate direct hire position. Qualified candidates will have a BSCHe or BSME and a current P.E. License. Other qualifications include; Ten or more years of experience in the design of equipment in the Petrochem, Syngas, or Gas industries, experience with heat exchange, pressure vessels, reboiler design, Mass transfer of equipment, columns, separator, and mechanics of Solids Physics. Responsibilities include; In charge of the design of the main equipment (HXs, cooling towers, refrigeration systems, pumps, high pressure gas compressors, CO2 gas dehydration systems, reboilers and columns) necessary for the CO2 validation plants and commercial plants (Chilled Ammonia or Advanced Amine), while ensuring conformance to codes, standards, and work instructions.
