Great opportunity located in New York, NY (Manhattan) for a Junior Level Engineer with an engineering or technical background to work with this clients sales force in a sales support role to assist in engaging industrial companies about their internet presence. Responsibilities will include maintaining a full schedule of sales support appointments (conference calls and webinars; approximately 10 per week) which will consist of sales representative requests for support on a sales call, the review of existing advertisers in assigned territory and request sales representative set up sales calls with any client that is a good fit for Web Solutions products. You will be required to maintain constant connection to the assigned sales territories, have a strong focus on driving sales process forward (from initial meeting to solution proposal), etc. To be considered you must have 3-5 years experience in an engineering or technical position in the industrial marketplace and be comfortable leading/controlling discussions. Extremely strong communication skills are required as well as strong presentation skills including experience with client presentations; a solid work ethic; personable demeanor; and required experience in working with large and small customers. Any experience with web development, internet applications, e-commerce, and/or CAD software is a plus. Local candidates or those willing to relocate within commuting distance of central Manhattan at their own expense. Position does offer a good annual incentive bonus based on the sales for the assigned territory.
