Client is seeking a Senior Substation Engineer for a position in VA. You will need a BS in Engineering and an extensive background in physical transmission and distribution substation engineering and equipment application. You must be able to independently plan and organize work schedules and be willing to make effective business decisions. Communicate and effectively interact with project teams, vendors and industry piers. This is a senior engineering position responsible for T&D Substation conceptual project analysis. You will participate on project teams that are assigned a variety of substation expansion and refurbishment projects. Specific duties include developing substation one-line diagrams, physical arrangements, detailed scopes and cost estimates. This is a long term contract assignment, additional per diem is available for qualified candidates. The client will also consider direct hire for the right candidate. IMMEDIATE NEED!
