Cost Engineer - Project Controls/Cost/Construction 40-50 $/hr

Engineering & Construction client has an IMMEDIATE NEED for a Cost Engineer/Project Controls Specialist for a 10 month project assignment near Oklahoma City, OK. You need 5-10+ years of experience working on heavy industrial (refinery, process plant, power plant, etc...) construction projects with the majority of your experience focused on project cost control. You will also do some scheduling, but the majority of the work will be cost control. You need to be proficient with using MS Office suite, Expedition, Microsoft project, & Primavera V 3.1 schedule programs. You will be the only Project Controls person on site reporting to the Construction Manager and need to be a self starter. Client will pay for mobilization, demobilization, 1 paid trip home every 3 weeks, & per diem. You need to be able to start by mid June, 2008.
Questions you will be asked:

• Detail your Cost Engineering experience on heavy industrial engineering & construction projects.

• Did you hold a job title of Cost Engineer, Cost Analyst, Project Controls Specialist or Project Controller?

• This job does require some scheduling. Do you have some experience on the scheduling side? Explain.

• Detail your level of expertise using Primavera scheduling software. On a scale of 1-10 (10 being the best) rate your skills using these software programs.

• When are you available to mobilize to the project? What is your desired hourly rate for this long term assignment?
