A company located in Northern Virginia has an immediate need to fill a senior level Audio Visual Engineer position. This position is to manage Broadcast and Audiovisual Projects or leads efforts on major Project subsystems. Some the responsibilities for this position are managing budgets, timelines, and members of the project engineering team in order to successfully execute the overall project plan. Candidates having experience in creating floor plans, rack and console elevations, conceptual and detailed RF, audio, video, networking and control diagrams, patch panel and custom I/O panel layouts for large-scale technical systems, test plans and test systems will have an advantage. Some skills that the client is looking for the position are a working knowledge of AMX and Crestron control systems, and a working knowledge of optics and acoustics and their application in large-scale integration. All candidates applying for this position are required to have one of the following combinations of education and engineering experience. Either BSEE or BSEET or other advanced technical or science degree that demonstrates in-depth knowledge of physical science principles plus 10 years experience in a broadcast or AV engineering capacity or ASEET and 15 years experience in a broadcast or AV engineering capacity.
