New opportunity for a growing utility solutions company who has an IMMEDIATE NEED for a Generator Field Service Technician for their Madison, WI region. Your responsibilities include single genset and transfer switch installations as well as multiple paralleled generator systems. This position involves frequent customer contact throughout the process of initiating, troubleshooting and completing repairs in the field. You will provide mechanical and electrical repair of power generation systems in the 5KW - 2 megawatt range. Effectively diagnose, repair, adjust and recondition diesel engines, engine systems and components. Supervise workforce and shop operations.

REQUIRES: A high school diploma or GED. A minimum of 6 years of hands on experience and a detailed knowledge of engine/generator sets, gas and diesel engines, and auxiliary support equipment specifically Cummins, Kohler and Caterpillar generators. A detailed knowledge of automatic transfer switches and be able to use control schematics and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot and repair genset and transfer switch controls; the ability to work after hours service calls; a clean driving record with the ability to obtain a CDL. Truck and special tools provided. You must have your own basic tools. This is an hourly based position with over time paid at time and 1/2. Up to 30 hours of overtime available each week. • Describe your experience providing mechanical and electrical repair of Cummins, Kohler or Caterpillar power generation systems in the 5kw to 2 mgw range.

• Describe your experience with automatic transfer switches, control schematics and wiring diagrams.

• Where do you currently live? Are you a local region candidate? If not, will you relocate on your own?

• Do you have your own tools and a clean driving record and valid drivers license?

• Are you willing and able to work after hours and on weekends on call as required?
