IMMEDIATE OPENING- Global provider of safety testing and certification services has an opportunity in their Minneapolis office for a Project Engineer who will be responsible for conducting evaluations and compliance testing. The company offers its services to a wide variety of industries such as medical, laboratory, telecom and home appliances. This position will ensure that products tested are in compliance with US, Canadian and International safety standards. In addition this person will prepare test specifications and conditions under which tests will be conducted and analyze and interpret data, prepare technical reports of their findings. To be considered for this position the ideal candidate must have a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent training and experience. Must have demonstrated experience with UL, CSA, and IEC standards; a minimum of two years hands on testing experience; ability to make technical decisions and engineering judgments independently.
