Chemical manufacturing company has immediate need for a Reliability Engineer at its suburban Huntington, West VA location. Ideal candidate will have a BS Engineering / Technical and 5 - 7 years combined maintenance and / or operations and reliability experience (preferably in chemical, petrochemical, refinery environment) with increasing responsible leadership roles. Individual must have through knowledge of mechanical and / or electrical systems, strong management skills, decision / root cause analysis experience, through understanding of diagnostic techniques; through understanding of maintenance excellence concepts and a solid understanding of the impact of poor reliability; must be proficient with Tab Ware CMMS, RCA software and financial applications. Position will develop, champion and implement reliability programs and processes that improve equipment reliability, yield, energy consumption, and maintenance cost. Will use Best Practices Networking, World Class Benchmarking as tools to strategize and prioritize site reliability improvements; will use Root Cause Failure Analysis, FMEA and other reliability techniques; will champion predictive/preventive maintenance programs; will provide leadership and influence to create a sustained change at the site.
