IMMEDIATE NEED!!! A growing Technology Company is seeking a Senior Radio Frequency Engineer for its Oregon location. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years solid theoretical knowledge of Radio Frequency concepts coupled with a work history in successful practical application. A Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering is required. Applicant must have experience in narrowband and spread spectrum radio designs operating in the 260MHz-2.4GHz ranges, test and qualification of base-band, digital, and RF circuits. Candidate must be able to research and identify components appropriate to meet design objectives, plan and execute designs to meet engineering targets, familiar with all equipment necessary to prove and test a design, knowledgeable of RF theory related to transmission lines, matching and harmonics, and antenna function. Candidate must be knowledgeable in the legal requirements of FCC part 15.231.247 and 249, soldering of fine-pitch components, troubleshooting, characterization measurements, and PCB layouts using CAD tools (Protel). Must have strong technical writing and mentoring/coaching skills. This position is responsible for defining electronic and RF designs and carrying them from conception to completion with minimum supervision; Researching and specifying components; Creating schematics and multi-layered PCB layouts using standard software; Testing and qualifying designs; Troubleshooting and rectifying any production issues; Working on and documenting all aspects of the development of mechanical designs; Working with customers on customized products and creating custom specifications.
