Mechanical Designer - Mechanical/Inventor /3D Design

Location: Schenectady, NY, USA
IMMEDIATE NEED in the Albany, NY area for 4 mechanical Designers for a 6 month, possibly longer, contract. No four year degree is required, but technical school training is required. The keys to these positions are: your experience using Inventor ( client is using Inventor 2008 ); knowledge of ASME 14.5M standards. Working with engineers, you will be creating 3D designs and layouts of large diameter, thin material roll-ups of aluminum and steel; following projects to completion ( including work on brackets, weldments, and assembly drawings ); creating and maintaining product structures. Your work sill be with very tight tolerances with heavy usage Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances ( GD & T ). Your knowledge of experience working with high pressure vessels will be a big plus in this position as will your experience with SAP. Your compensation will be commensurate with your level of experience and expertise.

• Please describe your work experience using Inventor including the version you are presently using. How many years experience?

• Please describe your ASME 14.5M standards experience in your work. How many years experience?

• Please describe your experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances (GD&T). How many years experience?

• Please describe your experience with high pressure vessels and - or SAP. How many years experience?
