Location: Independence, MO, USA
Client located outside of Kansas City, MO is searching for a Quality Engineer. This candidate will monitor and report on process capability and performance testing of Supplier procured materials. This candidate will prepare inspection plans and procedures, ensuring compliance to all process and contract requirements of procured essential materials. This candidate will coordinate activities for nonconforming materials and facilitate corrective and preventative action by the supplier. Travel for this position may be both domestic and international. This position requires a BSME, BSEE, or BSChE and 7 years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain management quality functions, or project management. Strong technical writing and oral communications required. Experience in determining and implementing process control or inspection techniques is required. Substantial experience with MS Word and Excel including data analysis and interpretation is required. Relocation is available for the right candidate.
