Global medical products manufacturer is seeking a local BS degreed R&D Engineer or Degreed Technical professional for a direct hire career position in Duluth, GA. Candidate will work to validate newly created measuring equipment and assemblies in a professional lab environment. Responsibilities include the coordination and execution of protocols for new metrology instrumentation, including validations. The candidate will be required to collect and compile data, do data analysis, and generate reports. Practical knowledge of statistics and data analysis is required. Additionally, knowledge of optics and optical properties is recommended. Previous work or academic experience in a lab environment or R&D type work required, with any specific studies in Applied Physics with concentration in Optics preferred.
