Great opportunity! Well established, global manufacturer of industrial equipment is seeking a Field Service Engineer with a BS degree in Mechanical, Chemical or similar engineering discipline and at least 5-years experience in technical sales or applications engineering. Experience required with pumps, compressors, and similar equipment. You will install, troubleshoot and/or service and repair product lines, train customers in the operation and application of products, identify problem areas and work with design teams to re-design applications for the customer. You will have to interface with quality, design engineering and manufacturing departments on issues related to customer problems and repairs and with customers to insure proper and efficient product operation. You will be involved in customer training and also the training of distributors and other field reps. You may also supervise Field Service Techs or Engineers with input to corrective actions, performance reviews and merit increases. You must be a self-starter, able to develop work relationships in a team environment and show leadership skills. You must have strong oral, written and presentation skills. Compensation will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
