One of the largest and most experienced manufactures of custom-engineered steel buildings in the world, is looking to hire Design Engineers in Southeast AL. Must enjoy living in a Small to Medium-sized Town with Beautiful Scenery on a Vast Lake a little over 2 hours from the Gulf Coast Beaches.
All applicants must have a B.S degree in Engineering, or equivalent. The company will be hiring from entry level to Senior level candidates with experience in Structural Steel Design. Candidates will need to perform work which involves design calculation for special metal building construction with a variety of complex features such as: conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials, and difficult coordination requirements.
Ideal candidates will have daily interaction with project engineers, drafters and technicians associated with specific projects. Salary commensurate with experience; RELOCATION will be considered for the right candidate. Excellent benefits as well as a very friendly and family oriented environment.
Questions you will be asked:

• Please describe your Structural Steel Design experience (years of experience and types of projects and industries you were involved with).

• Please explain your experience in analyzing and designing structural steel systems, and the techniques used?

• Please describe your leadership experience.

• Please explain your experience interacting with project engineers, drafters and technicians associated with specific projects?

• How many projects have you taken from initial concept through to completion?
