Location: Tampa, FL, USA
This position performs mainly information systems and operational audits. The IT Auditor is responsible for planning audits, including developing scope and objectives, audit programs, and test plans. Schedules/coordinates the testing, as well as performs and documents the test results. Prepares and submits reports based on test results, using judgment when recommending improvements in controls, policies and procedures, and/ or for effectiveness and efficiency. Communicates results to the auditee(s). Involved in the planning, testing, and documenting of the annual SOX 404 compliance controls. Coordinates these activities with IT and external auditors. Manages the timelines and budgets of assigned audits. Minimum requirements include two years of Audit related experience with an emphasis on Information Systems discipline preferred. A Bachelors degree from an accredited college with a major in Accounting, Information Systems or related subject is required. Ability to perform computer-assisted audit testing using Excel, ACL, or SQL query techniques for data analysis is strongly desired. This position requires occasional overnight travel. Salary consummate with experience. Comphrensive compensation and benefits package including relocation.
