Design Engineer - Pro E/Valves/Designer 65-70 K/yr

A leading supplier of flow control products has an IMMEDIATE NEED for a Valve Designer that is a degreed engineer and experienced in the use of Pro E. Client is looking for people that are experienced in valve design and that have a good working knowledge of valve design specifications, materials and industry regulations. Valve experience must include the designing of valves such as gate valves or similar products. Your background should include industries such as the oil, petrochemical and chemical, or other fluid applications. The right person must have designer skills, and be comfortable doing Research & Design. Salary will be commensurate with demonstrated experience and skill in the use of Pro E. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates.
Questions you will be asked:

• Describe your proficiency with Pro E, how experienced you are, recent projects you have worked on, etc. What disipline is your engineering degree?

• Knowledge of valve design, specifications, and requirements is required. What is your experience?

• This position will require a person that enjoys being a designer, and likes to do Research & Development projects. Why is this you?

• What different valve types have you worked on, and in what industries have you worked?

• Where do you presently live? Is there any reason that you could not move to Tennessee? What is your desired salary for this position?
