Safety Engineer - Nuclear/PSA/Modeling

Location: Jackson, MS, USA
Engineering client in Jackson, MS is in need of Nuclear PSA Engineers for long term contract assignment. MUST have Engineering degree, Nuclear Engineering preferred, and experience with Probabilistic Safety Assessment and Probabilistic Risk Assessments for nuclear power plants, from a utility operator NRC and-or government experience is a plus but utility experience is a MUST. Requires experience performing model updates, etc., using PSA development tools, especially CAFTA and EOOS. Mobilization / demobilization and per diem are available for the right candidates.
Questions you will be asked:

• Do you have an Engineering degree? In what field?

• How many years of experience do you have in commercial nuclear power plant operations and development?

• Please summarize your PSA and PRA experience with utility owned nuclear power plants.

• Please rate your skill using CAFTA, EOOS, and other modeling tools, 1 to 10.

• Where do you live now? When can you start work?
