Immediate Need in Illinois for a Project Manager. A minimum of 6 years experience in power electronics, power quality, and/or variable speed drives, with project or team leadership and new product development experience and a BS in Engineering is required. Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is preferred, but not required. Responsibilities include planing, directing, and coordinating activities of new product development projects to ensure that project goals are accomplished. A good candidate would have several years broad engineering experience required to include product design, manufacturing methodology, and testing. You will have to coordinate and manage project team activities. You will have to ensure the project is completed on time and within budget. Experience with project time management including resource estimation and scheduling is needed. Experience with cost management including estimation, budgeting, and control is needed. A good candidate will be able to communicate project goals, responsibilities, expectations, and feedback with all parties involved in the project. A good candidate will be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Company Offers a great package which includes benefits, bonus, and incentives.
