Global corporation in the petrochemical Industry is seeking an Electrical Engineer for its' Louisville, KY location. Duties includes: Design and specify the electrical and controls requirements for the program to meet the demands at the customers site Design and specify control mechanisms for designed process flow parameters, including (but not limited to) temperatures, pressures, flow rates, and unique maintenance requirements. Plan, schedule, perform or have performed all electrical functions to assure timely completion of all projects assigned to the incumbent. Record all process input in a timely manner Advise management of requirements to maintain the process needs of the processing equipment. Troubleshoot and solve electrical problems related to process equipment, controls, electrical and computer. Supervise contractors. Liaison with clients to improve processes and / or operations.
You must be fluent in Japanese and English and possess an BSEE with a min. 5 years of experience in a chemical or industrial process environment. Skills should include MS office suites with PowerPoint and process simulation software. Excellent problem solving and trouble shooting skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time or more in order to fulfill the responsibilities of this position. Project Management skills.
Pluses: A minimum of 5 years of experience in the petrochemical field; Or A minimum of 3 years of technical expertise in centrifugal separations, distillation, additive science and filtration; Or A minimum 5 years exposure to slurries used in the photovoltaic or semi-conductor for slicing Si.
