INSTRUMENTATION DESIGNER opportunity. LONG TERM CONTRACT at a location near Galveston, TX. Requires 6+ years experience with solid working knowledge of sizing and selecting instruments, instrument databases, wiring methods, and good installation practices. Need working knowledge of MicroStation and solid skills in using CAD and CAE tools to perform instrument design and develop bid packages.

Position will support instrument engineering and design for new installations and upgrades and create complex detailed design drawings and documentation for construction bid packages and ordering instrumentation.

Generous Salary based on qualifications, direct experience, and education/training. VERY LONG contract potential for the right candidate so No relo or per diem.
Questions you will be asked:

• Please describe your experience in Instrumentation Design including your Knowledge of sizing and selecting instrument databases, wiring methods, and good installation practices AND summarize your overall experience performing instrument design and developing bid packages noting the types of instrument system designs.

• Please rate your proficiency in both Microstation and CAD-CAE tools on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 high noting the specific tools.

• Please list your education, relevant instrumentation design training, CAD - CAE and Microstation training, and any certifications.

• When are you available and Where do you currently reside?
