Our client, a leading construction and transportation company located in State College, PA is actively searching for a degreed Engineering Manager to join its organization. The ideal candidate must have an engineering degree and at least 6 years of experience working on Highway projects. Daily duties will include supervision of engineers and drafters who overseeing work on projects that involve all phases of highway design, from concept development to the preparation of final construction documents. In addition, he/she will have familiarity with cost analysis and control. Experience working with MicroStation, InRoads, AutoCAD 3D design, Synchro are very helpful along with any experience working with the Department of Transportation. Relocation assistance may be provided to the right candidate and the salary will be commensurate with experience. All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply for this great opportunity.
Questions you will be asked:

• Please describe your experience with highway designs inclusive of surveys, excavation and grading, bridge construction, new construction, re-surfacing and road widening.

• Briefly explain any experience you have working within the Department of Transportation.

• What software experience do you have and what is your level of expertise in each on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the highest?

• Describe your experience managing other people and overseeing projects from concept to completion.
