Global manufacturer of automated material handling equipment is seeking a Field Service Technician in Atlanta. You will need 5 or more years of experience troubleshooting and modifying PLC's (Programmable Logic Controllers), preferably Siemens S7 or AB SLC 500. You should also have experience installing, commissioning, servicing and troubleshooting Automated Equipment. You must be able to install, troubleshoot and repair pneumatic, mechanical, and electronic equipment. Read, interpret and understand wiring diagrams and electrical schematics. A degree is not a requirement but a plus.
Questions you will be asked:
• How many years of experience troubleshooting and modifying Allen-Bradley PLC-s do you have? Does this include Siemens S7 & S5 or AB SLC 500?
• Please detail your experience with Automated Equipment (installing, commissioning, troubleshooting) and explain what type of equipment.
• How many years of experience with pneumatics do you have?
• Do you have experience reading, interpreting and understanding wiring diagrams and electrical schematics?
• Any experience with AutoCAD?(a plus)
