Immediate Need!!
Large Manufacturing Company in Southwest, Georgia, is looking for a Development Engineer with experience in production. Candidate MUST HAVE BS in Mechanical Engineering with 5-8 years experience in consumer products industry and familiarity with basic manufacturing processes including sheet metal stamping. Candidate must also have 5 + years design proficiency experience using PTC Wildfire 2.0 or 3.0 CAD software both 2-D and 3-D CAD software. Outdoor cooking product or gas appliance experience is a plus. Candidate will be responsible for providing technical leadership and overall direction to the Development Engineering team, working in concert with international suppliers/partners, executing sourced products from prototype evaluation, certification, Engineering Pilot, and Manufacturing Pilot into production per established schedules, driving execution of new technology, providing oversight for Product Lifecycle Management, improving performance, cost, reliability, and quality of sourced products, testing and evaluating new products, developing product prototypes, and managing assigned budgets.
