A frozen food industry leader is aggressively seeking a Maintenance Mechanic/ Electrician in Washington State. The Successful candidate will possess a current valid certificate of competency issued by WA state Dept. of L&I (EL07). This candidate must have a minimum of two years maintenance/electrical experience with industrial and packaging equipment. They will also be responsible to maintain, install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical systems in a food production plant and throughout the entire facility in a fast-paced environment. Must have the ability to work under constant demand of the production line environment. Must show reliability in past job performance and attendance. REQUIRED TO PROVIDE PERSONAL TOOLS. Must have a working knowledge of AC/DC electrical, mechanical transmission, plumbing, fastener hardware, pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, fabrication, use of hand tools and measuring instruments.This is a heavy labor position that requires continuous reaching, grasping/handling, trunk/head/neck rotation; frequent standing, carrying, bending, lifting up to 60 pounds and occasionally 100 lbs of equipment with assistance. Exposure to noise, cleaning agents, extreme temperatures, dusty conditions and humidity. Salary and compensation will commensurate with qualifications and experience
