IMMEDIATE NEED!!! An industry leading and world class manufacturer of telecommunication systems and equipment focusing on the leading technology is in need of a Sheet Metal Fabrication Engineer. This Engineer will provide support for manufacturing processes and the shop floor for Sheet Metal punching, forming and assembly. General responsibilities will include process design, product manufacturability design reviews and the mentoring of production personnel on technical process issues. Specific duties include developing, implementing and testing manufacturing processes for new products and new product features. This position will involve designing and conducting projects to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) as well as providing support for Focus Factory Improvement Action Sheet (Kaizan) process activities. All qualified candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Industrial and at least 3 - 5 years of experience in sheet metal turret press and press brake forming operations. A solid understanding of process and product design as well as experience in lean manufacturing applications is strongly desired. Experience with AutoCAD, Pro-E, MetaCam and SAP Knowledge is a plus.
