Major manufacturer of machine vision solutions for a variety of industrial applications is searching for a FIELD INSTALLATION / APPLICATION ENGINEER with 5 years experience to work from their metro Atlanta office. The successful candidate will perform site surveys, installations, maintenance, and repairs on vision inspection systems; determine site and equipment requirements; develop installation plan, configure system hardware, software and network components. The position requires an Associates in Engineering, 5 years experience and programming knowledge (rudimental C++, Visual Basic, SQL or similar). The position requires frequent travel approximately 85%+. Experience in the glass industry is a plus. Local candidates only.
