An international power generation product and service provider is seeking a degreed Electrical and Mechanical Test Engineer for a 2-4 month contract position in NW Atlanta, GA. Candidate will be involved primarily in the testing a broad range of systems and sensors with minimal direction from others in support of company products and services. Candidate must have a good understanding of mechanical, electrical and instrumentation equipment testing. BS degree in technical curriculum or equivalent plus three years working as an associate engineer or equivalent. Candidate will coordinate testing efforts, resolve technical and administrative issues, develop flow charts and schedules for each assigned project, develop procedures for calibrating, verifying and using overall systems, develop validation test plans for new product or product upgrades, & perform testing for a broad range of products. Candidate will provide frequent, clearly written status reports on testing activities, & develop reports and presentations to explain test results.
