Chemical Manufacturer is ACTIVELY seeking a Process Engineer for it facility located in Louisiana. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required. Candidates possessing at least 3 years experience in a chemical manufacturing environment as a Process Engineer will be highly desired. Possessing knowledge and understanding of both OSHA mandated PSM, and EPA mandated RMP rules and regulations required. Leadership & management competencies required, as well as troubleshooting & problem solving skills. Candidate must have an understanding of P&ID drawings.
Helpful skills include: Instrumentation, Chemical Vapor deposition, Vacuum theory, SCADA software, PLC programming knowledge, chemical analysis and sampling protocol procedures, AutoCAD or other design software, and process modeling/optimization software experience.
