IMMEDIATE NEED: A Manufacturing Manager for a Client that produces rotating machinery for industries such as Oil & Gas, Power Generation, Renewable Energy and Chemical Processing. This position will have overall responsibility for the manufacturing operations which includes the machining, welding and assembly departments. The right person will have 5 to 10 years experience in a manufacturing environment, which would have included supervision, planning, budgeting, team building, etc. A Bachelors in Engineering or Industrial Distribution is required, Candidates with a strong resume with manufacturing experience including both production and management are highly encouraged to apply. Some travel is required, approximately 10%. Salary listed is an approximation and will be commensurate with your experience, qualified and experienced manufacturing candidates are encouraged to apply and complete Question 5. Relocation assistance will be considered for eligible candidates.
Questions you will be asked:
• 5 to 10 years experience in a manufacturing environment is required to be successful, briefly describe the industries that you worked in and what type of product did you manufacture.
• In your manufacturing responsibilities: What were some of the duties that you performed? What type of operations did you manage? How many people did you supervise? (Be sure your resume is current and complete)
• Exceptional planning and communications are required to meet Manufacturing Goals, Develop Manufacturing Teams, and Meet Budgets, describe your planning and communications styles.
• Educational requirement includes either a Bachelors in Engineering or Industrial Distribution or a strong job history in manufacturing management. Indicate either you degree or why your experience should be considered.
