Large Manufacturing Company in Columbus, Georgia is actively looking for a Senior Development Engineer with manufacturing process and product development experience. Candidate MUST HAVE BS in Mechanical Engineering, with 5-10 years experience in new product development or continuous improvement of existing products. Candidate must also have experience coaching and mentoring people in junior positions, defining and implementing productivity and cost reduction opportunities in product design, managing multiple projects, analyzing and validating material/component selection, tolerances, performance, cost, and manufacturability, and carrying design and integration of systems and subsystems. Candidate must have strong knowledge of fabricated metal structures, geometrical dimensioning, and tolerancing. Experience creating complete product design using PTC Wildfire 2.0 or 3.0 CAD software, and PTC Sheetmetal applications is a plus. Company offers competitive benefits package. Company will also pay for relocation. Salary listed is an approximation, so all eligible candidates are encouraged to apply.
