A manufacturer of consumer products is in search of an Electronics Technician to work in their facility located in Northern Atlanta, GA. In this position, candidates will plan wiring for and then install, test and repair electrical and electronic equipment such as; battery charges, heating and air conditioning units, air compressors, and reject machines. This position requires that you have your own metric and standard tool set. To be considered, applicants must have an Associate Degree in Electrical /Electronic Engineering or be a graduate from an accredited trade school with at least 8 years of electronic/electrical trade or work experience in industrial electrical and mechanical processes, heating, air conditioning, welding, plumbing, fabrication and layout. Other must have's include knowing National Electrical Code, and the ability to use electronic/electrical test equipment, and read, interpret and follow technical drawings, blue prints and schematics. You must also be fork-lift qualifiable. Work schedule will include work daily and weekend overtime and on notice when emergencies occur. Salary commensurate with experience.
