IMMEDIATE NEED for a well rounded project manager with minimum 5 years experience in manufacturing industry. Previous background should include, casting, machining, stamping, forging or assembling & finishing processes. Previous sales experience will be required to lead and execute bidding process from evaluation of RFQ requirements to production of the final documents for submission. Ability to initiate and establish new relationships from the generation stage, presentation and development through the closing stage. Daily responsibilities will include but are not limited to: manage projects, including plan development and resource allocation. Provide management of cross-disciplinary projects that include sales, QC, technical, production, and accounting. Facilitate communication between cross disciplinary teams and the manufacturing base. Assume ongoing project related client communication and presentations. Candidate should be comfortable with CAD skills, Solidworks or Pro E. Previous quality control knowledge is a plus including developing inspection methods in conjunction with quality group that will ensure meeting customer requirements. Ability to support sales team by offering quotations, customer calls and client visits. Experience with Asian manufacturing or ability to convey needs and project work over the phone, email or other forms of communication. This is an opportunity to manage projects from cradle to grave. Engineering Degree is not required; however the ideal candidate should exhibit many of the above skill sets.
