Location: Pittsburgh, PA, USA
Electrical contractor in Pittsburgh PA needs a Material Specialist and Expeditor. This person will be responsible for bidding, purchasing, expediting, and tracking materials for various projects throughout the region. This includes obtaining vendor quotes from Bills of Materials from project leaders, evaluating quotes, generating requisitions for purchase orders, arranging and expediting delivery to sites, and track material receipt and usage. Must have at least 5 to 10 years experience in project materials purchasing and management, understanding of how to read project schedules, and general knowledge of electrical substation, switchyard, and relay and control material. Some local travel is required to job sites and/or storage locations. Local Pittsburgh candidates are preferred.

This is a full time position but the client prefers to hire Contract to Direct.
