IMMEDIATE NEED for Reliability Analyst to administer a Reliability Compliance Program to meet the standards implemented by the following regulatory organizations: NERC, NPCC, NYSRC AND NAESB. The client is a corporation charged with operating a bulk electric transmission system. Education requirements desired are a Bachelors (BS, BA) in Mathematics, Business Economics or Computer Science. Experience requirements desired are 2 years experience in an electrical utility, power system or regulated, technical industry. Candidates with a background in nuclear power plant compliance or Navy personnel experienced with nuclear propulsion systems would be a definite plus. This position will develop reliability compliance reports, establish data collection systems to support reports, and collect and analyze data. You will be working with the representatives of the regulatory agencies and you will identify and provide early notification of compliance issues to Enterprise Risk Management and Senior Management. Salary will be commensurate with experience and education. Relocation assistance is offered to the right candidate, and an excellent benefits package is available.
Questions you will be asked:

• Briefly describe your experience with the following regulatory and standard agencies: NERC (North American Electric Reliability Corp), NPCC (Northeast Power Coordinating Council), NYSRC (New York State Reliability Council) and NAESB (North American Energy Standards Board).

• Describe any experience you have in nuclear power plant compliance or Navy personnel experienced with nuclear propulsion systems.

• Briefly describe your experience in an electrical utility, power system or regulated, technical industry that would qualify you to work with regulatory compliance programs.

• Strong statistical analysis, econometric, computer modeling experienced is desired, briefly describe your experience with these.

• Where do you live? This position is located in Schenectady, NY will you and your family willing to relocate? What is your desired salary?
