Excellent APPLICATION ENGINEER growth opportunity for a highly regarded firm in western Illinois just east of St. Louis, MO metro. Requires BS Degree in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 5 to 10+ years electrical engineering experience including MUST HAVE solid experience in Protection Relay applications. Must have good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Travel up to 30 to 50% in North America. A PLUS to have familiarity with using JD Edwards inventory and accounting software.

Position will support sales by interfacing with customers providing application engineering support, resolving issues, and providing consultation in component selection for power system applications primarily to utility and power generation customers. Will also train sales representatives, support product planning, and participate in industry events.
